Welcome to the Tree Inn
One of the oldest and most historic Inns in Cornwall
The Tree Inn is a former Manor House, parts of which date back to the 13th Century. It is located in the historic Market Town of Stratton, about 1.5 miles from the North Cornwall coast.

Situated around a courtyard, the Inn includes our beautiful 13th Century Galleon restaurant with it’s ceiling beamed with timbers from ships wrecked on this coast.
The light and airy Gallery above the restaurant is ideal for more intimate dining. The Bevil Bar has a flagstone floor and a woodburner creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The courtyard is a sun-trap and attractively decorated with shrubs and flowering pot plants in the summer. We also have BT Sport in our public bar.
Food is served from Noon to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm. As you would expect, fresh local ingredients play an important role in our menus and the constantly changing daily specials board reflects this. Our modern British pub food is available throughout the inn and in the Courtyard on warmer days.
Sunday carvery is a speciality at the Tree Inn. We offer a choice of beef, lamb, or pork, with a range of freshly steamed vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and sage and onion stuffing. Our pork crackling is a bit tasty!
Our butcher is Phillip Warren from Launceston who provides amazing quality and great personal service to us. One of our favourites.
We are proud of our selection of cask ales and draught ciders, alongside our premium lagers and other keg beers. Our fridges are well stocked with premium lagers and local bottled ciders along with a full range of soft drinks.
We have a high quality wine list including eight wines available by the glass. Our fine ports list includes Rose and White ports alongside our three reds, and suggests matches with our local cheese selection.
To finish, our range of Malt whiskies include Laphroaig, Highland Park, Macallan, and Talisker.
Speciality teas, coffees and hot chocolate with cheeky syrups from Puro are available from our bar.
